Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Midtown Assisted Living Residence. As a CNA, you will provide supportive and personal care services to our clients with consideration of dignity and privacy. Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and hygiene to clients, including bathing, oral care, and dressing

  • Assist with vital signs, intake/output, and other measurements as instructed in care plans

  • Observe and report any safety hazards or significant observations regarding clients

  • Attend staff meetings, complete annual in-services, and participate in orientation of new employees

  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA requirements and agency policy and procedures manual

  • Perform delegated tasks by the RN, including non-invasive and non-sterile treatments, collection and documentation of vital signs, ambulation, positioning, and turning, transportation, and personal hygiene

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited High School or equivalent preferred

  • Ability to read, write, and follow directions

  • Must be a certified nursing assistant with proof of certification

  • A minimum of one-year full-time experience in direct patient care in an institution setting (hospital or nursing facility) or one-year full-time experience within the last five years in direct client care or an agency setting

  • Work positively and favorably with clients, families, and staff

  • Demonstrate compassion, responsibility, and cheerful attitude

  • Certified and in good standing with the Maryland Board of Nursing
