Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine (or eligibility for licensure)
- Prior nursing experience; pediatric or school-based experience is highly valued
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to respond effectively in medical situations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and first aid to students and staff for illness and injuries
- Administer medications and manage individual health care plans
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation
- Monitor students’ chronic conditions and communicate with care providers and parents
- Educate students, staff, and families on health and wellness topics
- Ensure compliance with state and district health policies and procedures
- Collaborate with school personnel to promote a healthy and safe environment
