The caregiver must remain awake, alert, responsive, attentive, and available to the client throughout the entire scheduled shift. Personal phone use must remain limited and may never interfere with client care, safety, supervision, companionship, communication, or documentation. PROFESSIONAL APPEARANCE Helping Hearts caregivers represent our agency every time they enter a client’s environment. Navy scrubs are required. Professional closed toe footwear is required. Crocs are not permitted. Caregivers are expected to maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance throughout the assignment. QUALIFICATIONS Previous professional caregiving experience is strongly preferred, particularly experience providing one on one care to older adults or clients requiring mobility and fall prevention support. Experience as a Caregiver, CNA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Assistant, Direct Support Professional, or similar direct care professional is preferred. Applicants must have dependable transportation and be able to consistently arrive on time for a 7:00 AM start . Candidates must be comfortable using a smartphone for electronic documentation and agency communication. Applicants must successfully complete Helping Hearts’ required onboarding process, applicable criminal background screening, registry checks, and required training. Current CPR and First Aid certification is strongly preferred .
