This individual will leverage their clinical expertise as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), specializing in sports medicine, to provide direct patient care, coordinate medical services, and manage athletic training staff. The Sports Medicine Provider will be responsible for providing high-quality care to student-athletes, focusing on injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation. This position plays a critical role in promoting the health and safety of our athletes, ensuring their well-being both on and off the field. Other Information: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Current, unrestricted license to practice in the State of Arkansas as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). Preferred national certification: PA-C (NCCPA) for Physician Assistants, or Applicable APRN certification (ANCC/AANP or specialty board as appropriate). Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent); ability to obtain ACLS within a designated timeframe if required by the organization. Demonstrated clinical competence in evaluation and management of acute musculoskeletal injuries, sports-related conditions, and common outpatient medical concerns. Ability to perform and document sports physicals / pre-participation examinations in accordance with state and organizational requirements.
