Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to provide attentive, high-quality care to client during the day and nighttime hours. The ideal candidate will ensure safety, comfort, and well-being while assisting with personal care.

  • Assist with personal care (bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming) as needed

  • Help with mobility and offer companionship and emotional support

  • Perform light housekeeping (laundry, tidying, meal prep)

  • Maintain accurate care logs and communicate with family or staff

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Transportation may be required for appointments, errands, etc.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • HHA Certificate or CNA Licensed in Florida (Active)

  • Previous caregiving or in home care experience preferred

  • Current FIRST AID & CPR certification

  • Current TB (negative PPD results) in the last 6 months

  • Pass criminal record and Level 2 background in AHCA clearinghouse.

  • Reliable Personal Transportation: Must possess a reliable personal vehicle, valid driver's license, up-to-date auto insurance, and a clean driving record to safely transport the client to appointments and errands.

  • Experience with Alzheimer’s and Dementia, Memory care a plus!

How you make a difference The Certified Medication Technician is responsible for administering prescribed medications under the supervision of a registered nurse. This role includes documenting medication administration, adhering to infection control protocols, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The technician participates in audits and data collection to support performance improvement efforts. They monitor for adverse reactions and report them promptly while maintaining medication supply levels. The technician also ensures patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Key Responsibilities Administer medications under RN supervision in compliance with policy and regulations Document medication administration and reasons for non-administration in the MAR Follow infection control procedures and safety protocols during medication delivery Participate in audits and report adverse reactions to supervisors Maintain medication supplies and uphold HIPAA confidentiality standards Additional Details Must hold CNA license and Med Tech certification or willing to obtain prior to hire Qualifications & Requirements EDUCATION High School graduate or equivalent.
