Job Requirements POSITION SUMMARY The Assistant Nurse Manager plans, directs and assess’ all unit functions to include evaluation of patient care on a twenty-four (24)-hour basis on an assigned unit. The Assistant Nurse Manager participates in the development and implementation of Health First policies and objectives, scheduling and assignment of personnel, and quality improvement activities. The Assistant Nurse Manager at all times serves as clinical and professional role model to staff and contributes to their professional growth and development. PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES Performs those clinical skills within the scope of practice for which competencies have been validated, ensuring patient and staff safety on the assigned unit, and Contributes to the patient experience to cultivate positive patient satisfaction scores and HCAHP scores for department. With 47 long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital beds, we partner with your physician and offer 24-hour clinical care seven days a week so you can start your journey to wellness. Similarly, our 11-bed ARU is designed for people who have experienced the debilitating effects of an acute injury, impairment or illness.
