Personal Caregiver

Right at Home Washtenaw is looking for compassionate, dependable Personal Caregivers to provide hands-on, non-medical care to seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes.

This position is ideal for individuals who are comfortable providing hands-on personal care and want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients and their families.

Responsibilities

As a Personal Caregiver, you may assist clients with:

  • Bathing and showering

  • Dressing and grooming

  • Toileting and incontinence care

  • Mobility and transfers

  • Feeding and meal assistance

  • Medication reminders

  • Light housekeeping and laundry

  • Companionship and emotional support

  • Accompanying clients to appointments and activities

  • Providing transportation when appropriate

  • Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition or needs

  • Following the client's individualized care plan

  • Maintaining a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment

  • Comfortable working independently in a client's home

  • Reliable and committed to providing quality care

Previous caregiving or healthcare experience is helpful but not always required. Training is provided.
