What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
  • 3 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
  • RN Assistant Nurse Manager or RN Supervisory experience

Overview Under the supervision of the Ambulatory Administrator or Director, Manager and Medical Director, utilizes the Nursing Process to provide care, coordination of care and patient education to a group of patients, using the medical home mode. Assists providers in the provision of quality healthcare. Assignments are performed appropriately to age and developmental level of patients being served. Responsibilities Job Requirement Expected Performance Assists the clinician in delivering quality patient care including measuring vital signs, obtaining history, initiating EMR progress note and updating allergy, medication and problem lists. Performs or assists with dressing changes, pulse oximetry, respiratory treatments, point of care testing, vision & hearing screens, and other required procedures as indicated. Administers vaccines, medications and treatments as ordered by provider and within scope of practice. If in a clinic that serves pediatric patients, ensures vaccines are stocked and in compliance with Vaccines For Children/Florida SHOTS program.
