We are hiring for a Clinical Nurse supporting our 3A CV Intermediate Care team. In this role, you'll provide comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care to patients and their families through the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans. You'll work collaboratively with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families to deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care while supporting WakeMed's commitment to nursing excellence and Patient & Family Centered Care.
What you'll do
- Assess patients' physical, psychological, developmental, and socioeconomic needs and develop individualized plans of care based on clinical findings and physician orders.
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care, treatments, patient education, and ongoing evaluation to support positive patient outcomes and recovery.
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families to coordinate care and ensure a seamless, patient-centered experience.
- Communicate timely, accurate, and meaningful information that supports patient and family participation in care and decision-making.
- Incorporate evidence-based practice, professional nursing standards, and WakeMed's Patient & Family Centered Care model into daily clinical practice.
Who you are
- Registered Nurse committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care.
- Skilled in patient assessment, clinical decision-making, care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Strong communicator who values patient and family engagement, education, and partnership in the care process.
- Knowledgeable in professional nursing practice standards, including the ANA Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice and the North Carolina Board of Nursing Practice Act.
- Dedicated to fostering an environment of dignity, respect, information sharing, participation, and collaboration.
