Using excellent customer service and communications skills, your primary duties in this role include:
- Responsible for assisting the medical staff by collecting information, escorting patients to exam rooms, and preparing patients for examination.
- Assisting with procedures and performing related tests/monitoring.
- Scheduling appointments for new and established patients as needed.
- Maintains a comfortable, orderly, safe, and clean environment.
- Utilizes EMR to process prescriptions, retrieve test results and patient files.
- Updating records as needed.
- Assisting with the overall delivery of patient care in the department.
- Other duties as assigned.
Salary:
Hiring range, based on experience and credentials:
- Level I: $25.17-$34.05
- Level II: $27.69-$37.46
- Level III: $30.45-$41.40
Placement within levels based on specialty group, experience, additional duties.
Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Credentialed Medical Assistant (AAMA, NCCT or similar are acceptable)
- Minimum of 1 year experience is strongly preferred
- Prior pulmonary experience preferred
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting
- Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines
