As a Staff Nurse, you will be a vital clinical presence, responding to medical needs, supporting treatment teams, and ensuring safe, timely, and compassionate care.

Position Summary

The Staff Nurse provides compassionate, high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in an inpatient psychiatric setting. This role is responsible for administering medications, monitoring patient health, collecting and documenting assessment data, and responding to minor injuries or urgent medical needs. The Staff Nurse collaborates with the interdisciplinary treatment team to implement care plans, ensures accurate and timely documentation, and upholds all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards. The Staff Nurse supports patients in activities of daily living, participates in therapeutic groups, and maintains a respectful, inclusive, and therapeutic environment for all patients and colleagues. 

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of Nursing program

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Kansas

  • New graduates welcomed to apply!

  • At least 20 years of age

  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
