Facility: Brunswick Endoscopy Center - 13 Medical Campus Drive Supply, North Carolina 28462  | Location: Supply, NC | Position Type: PRN| Work Schedule: Start times as early as 6am. Typical end time by 5pm.


What You'll Do

  • Provide direct patient care throughout the endoscopy experience, including pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-anesthesia recovery phases.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center environment.
  • Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies, EGDs, and other diagnostic or therapeutic interventions.
  • Administer medications, monitor sedation, and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
  • Educate patients and families regarding procedures, preparation instructions, recovery expectations, and discharge care.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, required. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. 
  • Experience: One year of ASC, PACU or operating room experience, preferred. 
  • Licensure/Certification: RN License in Appropriate State, required. ACLS and PALS, preferred. 
  • Additional Skills (required): Must have a thorough understanding of role of RN and the ability to carry out the functions as stated in the appropriate relevant state nurse practice act. Ability to set priorities and organize workload of unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient’s age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to age specific needs. Proficient in telephone screening and interviewing skills.
