Required Qualifications*

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program OR current enrollment in, or completion of coursework in a healthcare professional program (e.g., medical school, PA program, nursing program, or related clinical training) OR an equivalent combination of education and experience (1 - 3 years).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of clinical workflows, patient care, and basic medical terminology.


Desired Qualifications*

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or (RMA).
  • Experience working within a large complex health care setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records system.


Modes of Work

Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.

Job Summary To provide direct patient care, assist with clinical procedures, and coordinate patient flow in the Taubman Surgery ACU serving several sub-specialty divisions. Responsibilities* Perform patient intake and rooming duties in the clinic. Document health information in the Electronic Medical record.
