LPN Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to residents under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN)

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician

  • Perform routine clinical tasks such as vital signs, wound care, and specimen collection

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans

  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members

  • Document patient information accurately and timely

This position will be Monday-Friday and will require one evening shift per week and a rotating Saturday shift. The shift will be based off the operational need. Two years of LPN and pediatric experience is preferred. The Licensed Practical Nurse performs routine nursing care of the ill, injured or infirm under the direction of a licensed professional (RN) nurse, nurse practitioner and/or a physician. The LPN participates in the planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care in accordance with the scope of the LPN as defined by the State Board of Nursing and health system standards.
