Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) to join our team at Glenview Wellness and Rehabilitation Center in Richland Hills, Texas. Responsibilities:

  • Provide routine nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies and procedures

  • Make resident rounds to administer quality nursing care and ensure their comfort and well-being

  • Verify resident identification before administering care or serving food

  • Report missing ID bands to the admission coordinator immediately

  • Perform other related duties as necessary or directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator

Requirements:

  • Currently licensed as a certified nursing assistant

  • A minimum of 6 months experience as a certified nursing assistant or clinical experience while enrolled in a nursing assistant certification class

  • Sincere desire to serve the ill, aged, and infirm

  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language

  • Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public

  • Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel

  • Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm

  • Ability to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and, at times, hostile people
