Key Qualifications:

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver daily health support as a classroom nurse for two students—one with wheelchair use, one ambulatory
  • Administer and monitor g-tube feedings, medications, and other specialized nursing tasks as required
  • Monitor students with ventilator needs, responding to emergencies and providing routine respiratory care
  • Collaborate with teachers, aides, and parents to ensure students’ health plans are implemented appropriately
  • Maintain accurate, detailed health records and follow all school health policies
  • Educate staff and students on best health and safety practices as needed
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for student health within the classroom
