What You Bring!

Education: Degree from an accredited School of Nursing Required (BSN preferred)

Experience: Minimum of 2 years RN experience in L&D within the last 5 years (or completion of our new grad training/new to specialty fellowship program in L&D)

Credentials: State of Oregon nursing license and BLS required upon hire

ACLS, NRP and EFM required within 6 months of hire

In this role, you will:

Deliver and evaluate individualized patient care.
Accurately document care in the electronic health record.
Coordinate and delegate care across the clinical team.
Maintain clinical excellence through ongoing learning and development.
Support quality, safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required within 6 months.
Electronic Fetal Monitoring AWHONN (EFM) required within 6 months.

Working Conditions

Lifting

Patient handling no greater than 35 lbs. without the use of assistive equipment and/or devices (NIOSH).
Fine motor skills to be able to grasp and control medical equipment and perform precise procedures.
Push/Pull: Frequently up to 45 lbs. force (i.e., WOW, medical carts).
Perform hands on CPR at least 20 mins using 100-125 lbs. of force (National Assoc. of EMS Physicians and AHA) Frequency should be seldom or occasionally.
Ability to move around area with frequent sitting.
Bending/ stooping/ squatting/ reaching/ kneeling frequently.
Lifting (non-patient) up to 20 lbs. occasionally and 5 lbs. frequently.

Environmental Conditions

Exposure to biohazard, body fluids and airborne particles.
