Job Summary

Are you a compassionate and dependable caregiver looking for rewarding work? Always Best Care Boerne is seeking Caregiver Assistants to provide high-quality in-home care for seniors in Brady, TX.

As a Caregiver Assistant, you will help improve the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities, providing companionship, and helping maintain their safety, comfort, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Provide mobility and transfer assistance to ensure client comfort and safety
Provide medication reminders
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
Perform light housekeeping related to client care
Provide emotional support and companionship
Document care provided and report changes in client condition to the supervising team
Encourage participation in appropriate recreational activities and social engagement
Follow client care plans and company policies
Help ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times

Qualifications

Willing to work a minimum of 20 hours per month
Willing to use our integrated platform for documentation and time tracking
Previous caregiving experience is a plus, but not required; training is provided
Passionate about helping seniors and making a difference in their lives
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Able to handle the physical demands of caregiving, including lifting and mobility assistance
Dependable, patient, empathetic, and trustworthy
Able to maintain confidentiality and follow instructions
Authorized to work in the United States
Valid driver's license required
Reliable transportation required
3 professional references
Must pass a background check and drug screen
