About the Role:

As an Double Weekend LPN/RN Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, overseeing the daily operations of the unit, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient outcomes. You will be working closely with our nursing staff to coordinate patient care, resolve issues, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Your exceptional leadership and communication skills will enable you to effectively manage your team, prioritize tasks, and make informed decisions to promote patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring

  • Oversee daily unit operations, including scheduling, supply management, and quality improvement initiatives

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure quality patient care and maintain a positive work environment

  • Manage patient care coordination and communications with other healthcare providers

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and improve department efficiency

This role receives two types of compensation depending on the work being performed. When conducting visits, you will be paid per visit point rate compensation. Your per visit pay will be calculated by multiplying your per visit point rate by the productivity points you accrue for various types of visits. Each type of visit is assigned a certain number of productivity points that is inclusive of 'direct' and 'indirect' patient care activities. Visits are assigned based on patient and business needs. The number of visits performed each week will vary based on individual productivity targets and the productivity points assigned to the visits performed.
