Helping Hearts | Flexible Day and Night Shifts

Helping Hearts is seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced HHAs and PCAs to provide quality in-home care to seniors and individuals who need assistance with daily living.

Flexible availability is required, including day, night, weekend, and extended shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours. We strongly encourage candidates with open availability and dementia care experience to apply.

Responsibilities

Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and fall prevention.
Support clients living with dementia and memory-related conditions.
Offer companionship, reassurance, and emotional support.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
Provide medication reminders and monitor clients’ well-being.
Assist with blood sugar monitoring when trained and authorized.
Report changes in clients’ health or behavior.
Provide transportation to appointments and errands when needed.

Qualifications

Previous HHA, PCA, or professional caregiving experience.
Dementia care experience is strongly preferred.
Open and flexible availability for day, night, weekend, and extended shifts.
Compassion, patience, reliability, and strong communication skills.
Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Relevant certifications and required employment documents.
