Responsibilities

As the Director of Nursing (DON), you will be responsible for:

Leading and managing the Nursing Department, ensuring that all nursing practices align with our organization's mission and values
Collaborating with the Medical Director, Case Managers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans for our residents
Overseeing the daily operations of the Nursing Department, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow management
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and quality metrics
Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and education programs to promote excellence in nursing practice
Fostering a positive and supportive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and professional growth

Requirements

Experience in a senior leadership role or equivalent
RN License
Strong leadership and management skills with experience in nursing administration
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
