Job Summary

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) working the overnight shift from 11pm to 7am. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to our residents and patients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being during nighttime hours. Your expertise will support a variety of clinical needs, from medication administration to patient assessments, all while maintaining strict adherence to healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards. Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to residents and patients during overnight hours, including vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
Manage IV infusions and perform catheter care with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques.
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including tube feeding, mobility support, and personal hygiene.
Respond promptly to emergency situations such as acute pain episodes or respiratory distress, utilizing airway management and basic life support skills.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and long-term care strategies for residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain clinical confidentiality policies at all times.

Requirements

Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
Proven experience in long-term care settings or skilled nursing facilities is highly desirable.
Familiarity with EMR/EHR documentation
Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia-related conditions such as Alzheimer's or memory care needs.
Excellent assessment skills combined with the ability to respond swiftly in urgent situations.
Knowledge of infection control practices and long-term care regulations to ensure safe patient environments.
Flexibility to work overnight hours consistently while maintaining high standards of patient care.
