Desired Skills & Experience:

Current, active LPN/LVN or RN license
Experience working in a pediatric, school, or public health setting strongly preferred
Strong communication abilities and comfort interacting with children of all ages
Familiarity with individualized healthcare plans and chronic condition management (such as diabetes, epilepsy, asthma)
Up-to-date CPR certification
Compassion, discretion, and reliability in handling confidential student information

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct medical care, first aid, and health assessments to students and staff as needed throughout the school day
Administer medication and manage daily treatments for chronic conditions in accordance with healthcare plans
Maintain accurate health records, documentation, and reporting
Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrative staff to promote a culture of health and safety
Educate students and faculty on wellness, hygiene, and preventative care measures
Respond promptly in emergency situations and guide crisis management as appropriate
