Senior Care Assistant – Marble Falls, TX

Job Summary

Always Best Care Boerne is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to provide high-quality in-home care for seniors in the Marble Falls, TX area. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will help clients maintain their independence, comfort, safety, and quality of life by assisting with daily activities and providing meaningful companionship.

Pay

$14–$18/hour, depending on the client assignment

VA Client Assignments: $18/hour
Private Pay/Non-VA Assignments: $14–$16/hour

Pay rate is determined by the type of client assignment and applicable shift.Key Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Provide mobility and transfer assistance while prioritizing client safety and comfort
Provide medication reminders as directed
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when needed
Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment
Provide companionship and emotional support
Document care provided and report changes in the client's condition to the supervising team
Encourage appropriate recreational activities and social engagement
Follow all care plans, safety procedures, and company policies
Promote the client's dignity, independence, and overall well-being

Qualifications

Willing to work a minimum of 20 hours per month
Willing to use our integrated platform for documentation and time tracking
Previous caregiving experience is a plus, but not required; training is provided
Passionate about helping seniors and making a positive difference in their lives
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Able to meet the physical demands of caregiving, including lifting and mobility assistance
Dependable, patient, empathetic, and trustworthy
Able to maintain confidentiality and follow instructions
Authorized to work in the United States
Valid driver's license required
Reliable transportation required
3 professional references
Must pass a background check and drug screen
