Responsibilities

As a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) with Rockaway Home Care, you will provide compassionate, hands-on assistance tailored to each patient's individual needs.

Your responsibilities may include:

Assist patients with bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming
Provide toileting assistance and support with activities of daily living
Assist with mobility and transfers
Prepare meals according to patient needs
Provide medication reminders as permitted
Perform light housekeeping related to patient care
Offer companionship and emotional support
Observe and communicate changes in patient condition
Maintain accurate and appropriate care documentation
Follow each patient's established plan of care

Qualifications

Valid New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) Certificate, as applicable
