Job Responsibilities

Working as an LPN supporting the diverse needs of residents in post-acute facilities
Monitoring residents' mental and physical conditions and vital signs
Facilitating the intake process, including the documentation of medical histories and any health issues
Assisting with medication administration, including the verification process and the monitoring of effects on residents
Maintaining residents' medical records and charts
Helping with immunizations, IVs, and blood draws
Ensuring residents have a comfortable and safe environment
Being accountable to adhere to residents' care plans and to comply with all applicable rules and regulations
Contributing to the maintenance and proper inventory of medical supplies
Providing assistance with new hire orientation and training

Qualifications and Skills

Current New Hampshire state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Completion of approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) educational program
Graduation from high school (or GED/equivalent)
At least 6 months experience working as a LPN (or similar role)
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs

As New Hampshire's only Level 1 Trauma Center, our 33-bed ED provides care for approximately 31K patients each year, from neonates through older adults, with a wide range of emergency, urgent, and non-urgent needs. Our LPNs are an important part of our multidisciplinary team and work primarily within our Split Flow area, helping patients move efficiently through the early stages of their emergency care. In this role, you'll support patients as providers evaluate them, labs and other testing are completed, and they transition between the waiting area and clinical care spaces. This is a great opportunity for an LPN who enjoys a dynamic environment, working collaboratively with RNs, providers, paramedics, EMTs, and other members of the emergency care team while caring for a diverse patient population.
