Job Responsibilities

  • Delivering high quality, resident-centered care while working as a RN in post-acute facilities
  • Coordinating with the broader care team to shape personalized care plans for residents
  • Communicating various care options with medical staff, residents, and their family members
  • Taking and monitoring vital signs and drawing fluids as needed for lab work

Assume charge nurse role, as assigned Qualifications: Education/Experience: Graduate of an accredited nursing program Minimum of 2 years’ prior relevant psychiatric experience Massachusetts RN license CPR Certification required prior to employment Must possess knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes, therapeutic relationships and processes, age specific growth and development, limit setting, behavior and crisis management Required competencies: Strong organizational and communication skills Attention to detail and ability to prioritize independently Ability to multi-task in a changing and fast paced mental health environment Ability to work in a highly collaborate, team environment Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
