Job Responsibilities

  • Delivering post-acute care as an LPN
  • Monitoring the physical and mental wellbeing of residents and tracking their vital signs

Receives medications and medical supplies daily and checks accuracy of orders received; logs narcotics appropriately; notifies RN supervisor of any discrepancies as soon as possible. Communicates with direct care staff with all resident care concerns at the beginning and throughout the shift. Answers families’ and visitor’s questions as necessary. Is responsible for emergency equipment and general nursing supplies; restocking medication/treatment carts and any other supplies used. Participates in care plan meetings when asked.
