We are seeking compassionate and reliable caregivers to provide non-medical support to seniors and individuals with disabilities in their homes. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, companionship, and transportation to appointments or errands. Duties: Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Support clients with mobility challenges and provide assistance with lifting when required Offer companionship, emotional support, and engage in meaningful interactions Ensure a clean and safe living environment for clients Assists in meeting nutritional needs by providing meal planning, preparation, and grocery shopping as needed Provide clients medication reminders Support clients on walks and/or light exercises Monitor and promptly report any changes in clients' conditions or behaviors Skills: Prior experience in caregiving, senior care, or related fields preferred (professional or personal) Experience working with individuals requiring specialized care (memory care, Parkinson's disease, cancer care, hospice, etc.) is a plus Compassion and empathy towards others Proficient verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently while following instructions accurately Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail Capacity to adapt calmly and effectively to changing situations Requirements: Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration with the State of California (Or ability to obtain) Proof of LiveScan Fingerprint (or ability to obtain) Proof of current TB testing (Or ability to obtain) Clear a criminal background check (National and required by state & county) Clear E-Verify Professional and Personal Reference Check Must be physically able to perform the functions of this position Benefits: Competitive pay ($19-$22/hour) Lots of opportunities to earn bonuses: Loyalty Bonus Program, Perfect Attendance Bonus Program, Referral Bonus Program (and more!) ABOUT THE ROLE Full Time 2nd Shift PM (2:30pm to 11:00pm) As a Belmont Village Caregiver , you will provide hands-on care to a group of seniors living within our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates empathy. While a C.N.A license is not required to be a Caregiver at Belmont Village, we welcome applicants with a Certified Nursing Assistant license or relevant caregiving experience. YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living to an assigned group of senior residents living in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community Promote socialization and inspire participation in community activities while prioritizing resident safety and well-being Document and maintain accurate records of daily care and services provided and promptly report any observed changes to supervisors Uphold high standards of care, safety, cleanliness and regulatory compliance Provide hands-on assistance with toileting, hygiene and incontinence care as needed Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction QUALIFICATIONS Must be at least 18 years of age High School diploma or equivalent Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training as a care provider Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community Please note that the above Responsibilities and Qualifications provide a general overview of the primary duties for this role and the basic qualifications.
