License, Certification, Education or Experience: REQUIRED for the position: High School diploma or equivalent Current WA State Medical Assistant Certification Two years of experience in health care, acute care hospital or ambulatory clinic Electronic medical record (EMR) experience Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Power Point Knowledge of medical terminology Experience with CPT, ICD-10, and HCC coding for outpatient/clinic setting. Experience with HEDIS and other national metrics. Exceptional organizational skills Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while working on multiple projects. Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing. Ability to communicate and interact with individuals and groups representing all levels of the organization, and business partners. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work independently. Exhibits dependability and good judgment skills.
