Certificate/License: Current Certification as a Medical Assistant through one of the following programs is preferred (RMA, AAMA, NCCT, CMAC, AMCA). Current BLS certification is required. Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience is preferred Compensation: Pay is based on experience, skills and falls within an established range. You will input information into the electronic medical records system. You will take vital signs, give injections, and perform diagnostic tests. You will collect specimens and draw blood. You will sterilize and clean equipment and maintain examination rooms at an outpatient care site. You will collaborate with Physicians and Nurses. You will deliver direct patient care dependent on what active certification allows. Your decisions are regarding the daily priorities for an administrative work group or external vendors. These decisions involve coordinating work activities and monitoring progress towards schedules/goals. You will oversee the work of others. You will be the primary administrative owner of a main process, program, product, or technology. You will work within broad guidelines.
