Demonstrates knowledge of principles of wound care/ostomy care through education of patient and family in wound care, dressing applications, pressure ulcer care, compression therapy, diabetic foot care, venous disease, off-loading, and underlying disease processes. Facilitates departmental operations through daily completion of all required documentation, all patient charges and other paper work.
