What you need to know about this position: A member of the Columbus Regional Health Physicians team, Sandcrest Family Medicine practice has been awarded recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance Patient-Centered Medical Home Program. Sandcrest has 9 providers: 6 MD's, 1 Family Practice NP, and 2 Psychiatric Mental Health NP's; with 24 exam rooms and 1 procedure room; seeing an average of 80-120 patients daily and offers an acute walk-in clinic Monday through Friday mornings from 8am-10am for established patients. Seeing patients from newborn through end of life. The role our Medical Assistants play may vary but include responsibility for routine back office functions, bringing patients back to exam room, taking and recording basic medical history, and vital signs, point of care testing, phone triage, prior authorizations, medication refills, and assisting the physicians and/or nurse as needed. The hourly range for this position is between $17.61 and $26.41. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience.
