Registered Nurse

What you need to know about this position: Our Orthopedics/Neuro unit is a 15-bed inpatient nursing unit with an emphasis on wellness and rehabilitation. The patients on this unit are primarily post-surgical orthopedics, GYN and urological populations as well as patients recovering from strokes. A new Registered Nurse in this unit will have an hourly base rate starting at $33.34. An experienced Registered Nurse can expect an hourly base rate in the top 25% of nurses in the region. Compensation offered is highly competitive based on years of RN experience, job performance and the market. **Contact CRH HR (or 812-376-5627) to learn more about our compensation. RN positions are eligible for applicable shift differentials and Sunday/holiday premiums. In this position you would be scheduled to work 3 -12-hour day shifts (36 hours/week, considered full-time) with start/end times of 7:00am-7:30pm with a holiday and weekend requirement. With at least 16 hours per week, this position is benefit eligible. What is required for this position: Upon hire, you must have: Associate of Nursing (ASN) or equivalent required; Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Indiana Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Registered Nurse License through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) required. Within 30 days of hire you must have (CRH provides training & time to acquire certification after employment): Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. This position requires frequent standing, walking, talking and listening and lifting or moving more than 50 lbs.

Medical Assistant

What you need to know about this position: Columbus Regional Health Urology diagnoses and treats issues related to the urinary tract. The role our Medical Assistants play may vary but include responsibility for routine back office functions, bringing patients back to exam room, taking and recording basic medical history, and assisting the physicians and/or nurse as needed. The hourly range for this position is between $17.61 and $26.41. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions. This position will require you to work 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week. What is required for this position: Upon hire, you must have: High School Diploma or GED required Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program required; or completion of a credentialing test Certification or Registration as a medical assistant required through a recognized certification organization such as the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA); American Medical Technologists (AMT); Medical Assistant Certification from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP); National Healthcare Association (NHA) or the Accreditation Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) Upon 30 days of hire, you must have: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire This position is regulary required to stand, frequently required to walk and push or pull, occassionally required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel crouch or crawl, talk or hear, and smell and must frequently lift and/or move greater than 5lbs.

Travel to these sites will be required. The practice sees an average of 60 patients per day. This position will require you to work a shift of 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday through Thursday and 8:00AM to 12:00PM on Friday; 36 hours per week. Our Cardiac Cath unit includes 3 Cath labs and 9 outpatient rooms, and our team plans for 7 cases per day. A new Registered Nurse in this unit will have an hourly base rate starting at $33.34. An experienced Registered Nurse can expect an hourly base rate in the top 25% of nurses in the region.
