In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience. Position Details: Location: 10685 Professional Circle, Suite B Reno, NV 89521. Schedule: Part-time, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Training: Required out-of-state training for 2–4 weeks, all accommodations will be provided. Compensation: $20–$24/hour, based on experience and qualifications. Language: Spanish-speaking preferred. Key Responsibilities: Greet patients and escort them to the examination rooms; assist patients with the completion of forms as necessary. Become familiar with clinic computer hardware and software and use according to company policies. Answer multiple line and multiple language telephone lines. Schedule appointments and accommodate patient appointment needs, such as ordering transportation, rescheduling, etc. Perform clerical work as needed, i.e., copying, filing, faxing, etc. Maintain procedure rooms by ensuring that they are neat and ready for use at all times. Assist doctors during Endovenous Laser Therapy procedures in accordance with instructions and individual doctor preferences. Prepare patients before procedures and clean up after. Ensure patient receipt of post-procedure instructions and how to obtain medication if needed. Prepares IV solution. Apply knowledge of sterile techniques and OSHA regulations. Train new staff and assist ultrasound staff as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising physician or clinic management. Medical Assistant Certification: CMA, RMA, or CCMA a plus! High School Diploma or GED required 1+ years of relevant experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and strong computer skills This position is Part-Time, every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Seeking multiple Medical Assistants to work at Reno Orthopedic Center As a key member of our patient care team, you will support physicians and help ensure every patient receives a smooth, efficient, and compassionate experience. Your responsibilities will include conducting initial screenings, documenting vital health information, assisting with procedures, and preparing injections using sterile techniques. Overview NaphCare is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team of medical professionals in the Washoe County Jail in Reno, NV. As a Correctional CMA , you will work alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals to provide care to the individuals in residence. Working within a controlled environment, where security is top priority and the days are never dull, you will have various duties to keep you engaged including assisting physicians and other healthcare professionals with examinations, taking patient histories, vital signs, supporting administrative tasks, etc. This is a unique position where you can make a difference to this diverse population of patients with complex medical needs. *New grads are encouraged to apply - we'll train you in the exciting field of correctional healthcare!* Responsibilities As a CMA , you will play a critical role in our continued mission to provide quality healthcare that protects the rights, dignity, and health of our unique patient population.
