As a Sweet Dreams CNA You Will: (includes but not limited to) Spend quality one on one time with patients and their families to support everyday needs Care for hospice patients by providing paths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos, and changing bed linen as often as needed Provide bedtime care including personal hygiene regimens as required Provide aroma therapy and gentle touch Provide lotion rubs to hands and feet Perform personal care needs after given a patient's assignment and attending to his/her requests promptly. If unable to perform a certain task, report to the Case Manager immediately. Provide patient and family with positive communication techniques, within realm of ethical and respectful care, including confidentiality. Help patients dress and undress Record important health information including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure Assess and report patient condition and any significant changes to the Case Manager Assist patients with ambulation and exercise Respect patient and family/caregiver environment and patient's personal needs And additional duties as assigned Provide respite for patient's family/caregiver when on-site, as appropriate Maintain patient's living area is clean and orderly, as assigned Adhere to the organization's documentation and care procedures and standards of personal and professional conduct Participate in quality assessment performance improvement teams and activities Respect patient and family/caregiver environment and patient's personal needs All other duties as assigned Requirements: Certification of Nursing Assistant per state regulations in MA.
