Transportation Driver/CNA Qualifications: Active CNA certification in the state of PA 1 year of experience as a CNA Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Must have personal vehicle insurance (Liability) CPR and First Aid Certification (preferred). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with physical transfers. Experience with elderly or disabled populations. Strong communication and time management skills. Ability to positively interact with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Transportation Driver/CNA responsibilities: Transport residents to medical appointments, dialysis, and other approved outings using facility vehicles. Provide physical assistance and use proper transfer techniques to help residents in and out of vehicles. Ensure wheelchair-bound residents are properly secured. Maintain daily vehicle inspection logs and notify maintenance of issues. Assist nursing staff with resident care duties when not driving (ADLs, ambulation, toileting, etc.).
