Understand and follow the “ Six rights of medication administration” and all of Bickford’s policies and procedures regarding medication management. Understand and appropriately utilize the eMAR system for medication administration. Communicate appropriately with clinical leadership for clarification and direction regarding resident medication administration and care. Providing direct resident care Supervision of resident care work of non-licensed team members and other areas of the branch as appropriate. You will be a leader in demonstrating the Bickford Mission ‘Whatever it Takes’ to all other team members on shift. Qualifications: An active Medication Technician Certification in good standing or at least one year of experience in the care of seniors. High School Diploma or GED. Willing to take additional training or education, which specific states may require. CPR and First Aid certifications are required. Ability to handle multiple priorities. Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication. Competent in organizational and time management skills. Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Ability to utilize or learn Bickford’s eMAR system to administer medications. RN House Supervisor (3p-11p/11p-7a)

Position Summary: The House Supervisor maintains nursing unit goals and objectives and is responsible for the supervision of nursing unit(s). The House Supervisor ensures compliance of nursing practices, procedures, systems, and processes with company policy as well as federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. The House Supervisor coordinates programs and services under the direction and in consultation with the Director of Nursing (DON). Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide guidance, supervision, and management oversight to all nursing staff on all shifts. Ensure compliance with company policies as well as all federal, state, and local regulations. Supervises the nursing department in the absence of the DON/ADON as directed. Monitors staff compliance with assigned break times and patient care assignments. Effectively collaborate with medical staff and other departments to coordinate all aspects of patient care. Coordinates admissions, discharges, and transfers; ensures appropriate documentation. Conduct patient rounds and provide immediate feedback to assigned staff. Initiates coaching/counseling and/or corrective action as necessary. Review and investigate patient, family, and staff concerns; take action to resolve and prevent reoccurrence. Participate in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of quality nursing staff. Reviews staffing at change of shift; assigns and replaces staff to meet patient care needs. Ensure nursing unit operates with consideration to budget and cost controls; manage and reduce unnecessary waste and spending when possible. Performs other duties as necessary for the successful operation of the healthcare center. Qualifications: Education & Experience One year of nurse management / leadership experience preferred. Active, unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse in the state of employment. Ability to lead diverse team of individuals.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong ability to make independent decisions and work without direct supervision. Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government personnel, and the public. Must have thorough knowledge of current standards of nursing practice. Must be knowledgeable of computer systems and applications. Excellent customer service focus. Physical Demands: Exerts up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally.
