RN Supervisor (Full-Time, Nights) The Gardens at Gettysburg – Gettysburg, PA RN Supervisor (Full-Time) Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Every Other Weekend The Gardens at Gettysburg is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our nursing leadership team. This full-time opportunity is ideal for an RN who enjoys leading a team, making clinical decisions, and ensuring exceptional resident care during overnight hours. As the RN Supervisor, you will oversee nursing operations on your shift, provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff, ensure quality resident care, and serve as the primary clinical resource for the facility during overnight hours. Responsibilities Supervise and support nursing staff throughout the shift. Ensure high-quality, resident-centered care is delivered in accordance with facility policies and state and federal regulations. Assess residents and respond appropriately to changes in condition. Provide clinical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed. Collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive resident outcomes. Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation. Respond to emergencies and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented. Maintain compliance with infection prevention, safety, and quality standards. Participate in shift report and ensure continuity of care between shifts. Qualifications Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred. Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment, leadership, and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently while fostering a positive team environment. Current CPR/BLS certification. RN Supervisor

Position Title: Registered Nurse Supervisor (Every Week-End (7a-11p) Summary: Copper Ridge Nursing & Assisted Living Center is recruiting for a registered nurse to fill a management/leadership role in a skilled nursing facility setting. The RN Supervisor supports the Director of Nursing with the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes, and patient/family and employee satisfaction during a designated shift. The RN Supervisor serves as a clinical operational liaison between units and the DON, medical director, and other nursing staff. He/she is responsible for the clinical operations of the facility including ensuring compliance with Copper Ridge's policies and procedures. Duties: Observe and monitor residents’ health and assess their needs to provide quality care Work with physicians to create individual care plans and assist them during required operations or procedures Maintain complete healthcare records and reports including PCC being utilized according to best practices. Supervise, manage, and assist in training LPN’s and GNA’s on staff Perform routine procedures as needed, including administering medication and injections, and provide emergency medical care when necessary Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness within the facility Collaborates with DON in maintaining adequate staffing coverage Effectively utilizes existing manpower to limit the amount of overtime/agency needed to support staffing Assess work performance of nursing staff while on duty ensuring timeliness in services to our patients/residents Maintain security of the facility, creating an environment that is respectful, team-oriented, and responsive to the needs of our staff, patients, and their families Monitoring nursing care to reduce hospitalizations and ensure positive outcomes. Encourages shift to shift communication between incoming and outgoing nursing staff. Reviews prospective Admissions in relation to existing nursing capabilities and ensures readiness to treat. Ensure that patient's attending physician and family or responsible party are promptly notified of any significant change in the patient health condition. Investigates patient/family complaints and takes appropriate actions to bring to resolution. Requirements: Current state nursing licensure BLS/CPR certification In-depth knowledge of nursing care methods and health and safety guidelines Responsible and compassionate with outstanding organizational and communication skills Experience supervising GNA’s and LPN's in a nursing home setting Preferred Skills: Our ideal candidate is organized, interested in management positions, and committed to maintaining high standards.
