Oversee the daily operation so the laboratory, ensuring all lab draws and activities comply with safety regulations and quality standards, including stat lab times and consistency. Essential Functions: Under the supervision of the CTRS, assists in providing therapeutic recreational activities in accordance with accepted standards of therapeutic recreation practice in a timely fashion as outlined by Joint Commission, Federal and State Regulations, and the Hospital's Mission statement and CQI monitors. Assists in planning and conducting individual and group activities as assigned by CTRS. Participates as an active member of the treatment team, attending meetings when necessary and reporting on assigned patients. Documents in a timely manner in the medical record. Communicates in an age/disability/culturally sensitive related manner to patients and their families. Assists in identifying safety, psychosocial, special mobility and special equipment needs under the direction of the CTRS.
