Requirements RN (Registered Nurse) License Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing 1-year RN experience in the ICU in an Acute Care setting BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association ACLS certification with the American Heart Association The Registered Nurse – ICU Responsibilities And Skills Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of ICU patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in critical care Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments. Registered Nurse (RN) - Substance Use Disorder Services

Liberty Community Programs of West Virginia is part of a broader organization committed to offering evidence-based treatment, trauma-informed care, and recovery-oriented services to individuals facing substance use disorders (SUD) and co-occurring mental health challenges. Our programs emphasize individualized treatment planning, integrated care models—including outpatient services, Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)—and a collaborative, multidisciplinary team approach to support long-term recovery and wellness. Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in substance use disorder treatment to join our team. The RN will provide clinical support, oversee patient care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care for individuals receiving SUD and co-occurring services. This role is responsible for assessing patient health needs, supporting medication-assisted treatment (MAT) protocols, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and ensuring compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive health assessments for individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nursing care plans Administer medications, including those related to MAT programs, and monitor effectiveness and side effects Provide education to patients and families on addiction, recovery, medication adherence, and overall health management Collaborate with counselors, case managers, providers, and other team members to ensure coordinated care Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in EHR systems Provide supervision and oversight of Approved Medication Assistive Personnel (AMAP) Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and program regulations, including SUD treatment standards Support infection control, safety protocols, and quality assurance initiatives . Qualifications & RequirementsLicensure & Certifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia (required) AMAP Certification and approval to oversee AMAP (required) Must be approved by OHFLAC to supervise AMAP BLS/CPR certification (required) Experience Experience working with substance use disorders (SUD) and/or co-occurring mental health conditions preferred Experience in outpatient, IOP, or MAT settings strongly preferred Experience in community-based or behavioral health-adjacent settings is a plus Skills & Competencies Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Knowledge of addiction medicine, withdrawal management, and recovery principles Familiarity with MAT protocols (e.g., Suboxone, Methadone, Vivitrol) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, or similar) Additional Requirements Reliable transportation and ability to travel between sites as needed Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends Must pass background check and pre-employment screening.
