SAGE Behavioral Health Unit, an extension of Research Psychiatric Center , is a 10-bed senior adult unit located at Cass Regional Medical Center In Harrisonville, MO. We specialize in acute inpatient treatment for adults age 55 and older who suffer from acute symptoms associated with major mental illness, as well as those suffering from organic illness like Dementia. Using a family-centered approach, our unit provides a warm, supportive atmosphere where patients receive individualized care, specific to their special needs. Our primary goals are to maintain a safe, secure environment, and teach our patients, as well as their families and caregivers, how to cope with behavioral changes that may occur throughout the aging process. Job Summary and Qualifications Our Registered Nurses raise the bar by providing clinical expertise and the highest quality care in the most compassionate way. The Behavioral Health program provides individual treatment for adolescents and adults who suffer from emotional, behavioral or mental health disorders.
