Position: RN (contract) Location: Panhandle, TX Compensation: $38-40/hour Hours: 8 hours/month We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) in the Panhandle, TX area to administer patient care in accordance with a physician-established care plan. This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patient’s residence. Schedule: Full-Time opportunity, day shifts and night shifts available. Shift times anticipated are 8a-8p and 8p-8a. Responsibilities Execute physician-prescribed plans of care Complete compliant documentation of the care provided in the system of record Manage and administer prescribed medication, treatment, and therapies Perform various activities associated with daily living Monitor for changes in the patient's condition, such as weight loss/gain, self-care abilities, and indicators of disease progression Communicate with family members, physicians, case managers, and other prescribed individuals regarding the patient's health Work with patients is done one-on-one in the patient's home to provide a comfortable environment Collaborate with and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants and Personal Care Attendants Perform other personal care services as necessary to meet the patient's needs Minimum Qualifications Current State or Compact License as a Registered Nurse 1+ years of experience as an RN in a clinical or home health setting Current CPR certification Willing to get TB tested Maintain required insurance Must have dependable transportation and be willing to commute to the patient’s home If you enjoy developing genuine relationships with your patients, apply today! The current scheduling needs for this position will be established between the HHA/CNA, patient, and case manager. Shifts: Patients needs involve 24hr/day care - FT or PRN opportunities available, with FT shift times being 8a-8p and 8p to 8a. Offers are contingent upon passing a background check. Responsibilities Executes physician prescribed plans of care and compliant documentation of care provided in system of record. Administers prescribed treatments, and therapies. Performs patient assessments, coordination of care. Performs various activities associated with daily living, communications, and monitoring of vitals while working at the patient’s home. Will be working with patients in a comfortable environment where the service is one-on-one. Communicates with family members, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health of patients. Performs other personal care services as necessary to meet the patient’s needs. Requirements Current CPR, First Aid, and 2-Step TB Test Prefer experience in a clinical care setting, home health preferred. Good interpersonal skills. Prolonged standing and walking required, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move patients. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
