Assists in medical or minor surgical procedures, implements nutrition and therapeutic diet plans, and documents nursing encounters using SOAP charting, ensuring effective communication with nursing staff, physicians, and other relevant personnel. Attends mandatory staff meetings and training sessions, demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to policies and procedures in providing high-quality patient care. Qualifications & Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Experience Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience Licenses/Certifications Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment. Your role involves meticulous documentation of provided services for monitoring purposes and promptly communicating any schedule changes or coverage needs to the Medical Director and site director to ensure uninterrupted medical services for patients even during your absence. Key Responsibilities Conducts thorough medical examinations of referred patients upon reporting to the assigned facility, adhering to clinic treatment policies and all relevant state and federal regulations. Provides guidance and training to medical staff, participates in case conferences, and collaborates with clinic personnel on treatment plans while ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient progress in SOAP format. Responds promptly to health emergencies following standard protocols, reviews records as necessary, and utilizes available resources for problem resolution before considering off-site referrals.
