WK Pierremont Emergency Department ED-Emergency Dept Shreveport, LA Nursing Full-Time, Night, 7p-7a Posted 01/08/2026 Req # 8211 ER RN CHARGE The Emergency Room Registered Charge Nurse is responsible for the flow and management of a 21-bed Emergency Room through planning, organizing, coordinating, directing, and supervising the nursing care provided while in the Emergency Department. The ER Charge RN will perform a variety of tasks, including making nurse room assignments, assigning tech roles and duties, directing EMS/triage traffic as necessary, assisting staff nurses with any patient care, coordinating between entities such as house supervisor, ER physicians and/or outside physicians/facilities. Other responsibilities as an ER Charge RN will include supervising nursing care provided by staff nurses/ER techs as well as exhibiting accountability through attendance, and acting as a role model for work ethic through activities such as dress code and cell phone utilization. The role demands critical thinking, rapid decision-making, and strong clinical skills to manage a wide range of medical emergencies and trauma cases. *Licensure/Certification* Current Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification are required. PALS certification required TNCC certification preferred *Experience * A minimum of 1–2 years of experience in an emergency room is required. *Skills* Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Strong interpersonal and communications skills. Ability to work effectively in a high-stress and fast-paced environment. Proficiency with electronic health record systems

A Dialysis Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care at one of DCI’s in-center hemodialysis units as part of a patient care team. Our RNs are integral in ensuring safe care and the highest quality outcomes are prioritized for every patient.
