Durham, NC 27705 The General Pediatrics Unit is an 8-bed acute care unit that is projected to expand to 16 beds in January 2027. The unit provides care for a diverse pediatric population with a wide range of general medical and surgical needs. Most patients on this unit will have an anticipated length of stay of three days or less. RNs will care for an assignment of 3-4 patients with support from a charge nurse and nursing care assistant.
