Summary To assist the clinician in providing medical care to the patients of the Medical Practice. Responsibilities Triages and assesses patient conditions via phone or in-person consultations. 2. Determines the urgency and type of care required for patients based on assessment. 3. Provides medical advice and guidance based on assessments. 4. Communicates with physicians, nurses and other members of the care team about patient statuses. 5. Prepares materials, supplies, equipment, and the patient to assist the clinician with the patient's medical exam. 6. Obtains the patient's history and medical information. 7. Collects and processes specimens as directed by the clinician and performs point of care testing. 9.
