Through our partnership with REX Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, along with a highly skilled healthcare team, we specialize in the care of infants requiring medical treatment due to complications and neonatal transitional problems, and other problems. Our team has a strong commitment to families. Our team provides excellent patient and family centered care and lactation support. Summary: Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. Reporting and accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting. With assistance, uses patient education materials relevant to patient population. Assesses readiness to learn of the patient/family/caregivers. Position Summary: Pre-op duties include preparing a patient both physically and mentally before an endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy or colonoscopy procedure, including taking medical history, verifying consent, administering pre-medication, point of care testing, providing instructions on bowel preparation if necessary, IV placement and monitoring the patient's vital signs prior to the procedure. The ideal candidate will also provide high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia, ensuring their safety and comfort during the critical recovery period. Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Summary: An Advanced Practice Provider functions as part of the interdisciplinary healthcare team in accordance with privileges approved by the credentialing committee to provide high quality, cost effective care to patients within the APPs scope of practice in collaboration with a supervising physician.
