Performs other duties as assigned by the supervising nurse, such as assisting with patient care in different units and participating in the orientation of new staff members. Additional Details -This position is for full-time/nights. -This position offers a $2,000 bonus for full-time employment. Qualifications & Requirements Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of training course for Nursing Assistants. Experience Work requires level of knowledge of basic patient care methods, procedures, and techniques. Ability to handle a variety of simple tasks that are routine in nature, while keeping work flowing in an orderly manner. Must have the ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Must be able to pass and maintain clearance for a Public Trust Position, if working with specific patients. Ability to express thoughts logically, in English, in both written and verbal form. Ability to use computers and the typical software such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and various database systems. Licenses/Certifications Current certification in the state of practice is required.
