Diagnose and manage a range of pediatric conditions within the subspecialty scope, collaborating with subspecialty physicians as needed. Develop, implement, and modify treatment plans, including prescribing medications, therapies, and other interventions in accordance with Ohio prescriptive authority regulations. Order and interpret diagnostic tests. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures Work closely with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other allied healthcare professionals to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Recognize situations that require referral to or consultation with other specialists, and coordinate these services when appropriate. Provide patient and family education and guidance on diagnoses, treatment options, medications, procedures, and overall care plans. Promote preventive care strategies and healthy lifestyle recommendations tailored to the pediatric population.
